WHAT IS COHABITATION??

COHABITATION (LIVE-IN RELATIONSHIP)

First of all i am sorry i have been absent for a week and haven't posted..

When i realised i was like..

Sorry, sorry....

OK, So after reading my title..You guys may be thinking what the f#$#$ is this?

So guys the term you have been using was 'Live-in' but thats not the exact one.

It's actually 'COHABITATION'.

So i asked couple of my friends what do they think live-in is?

Everyone answered me in a similar pattern.

Their answer was when two people live together without marriage..

It is partially correct.

But even tenants live together in the same place by equally contributing.

So this is just half of the answer.

Let me explain.

Technically, when two people live together and have a sexual relationship without marriage it's considered as a live- in relationship.

UGHHHHH!!!!

Trupti, Stop being so technical, its emotions....

I know, but even our emotions are technical..

I cant help it...

So,

As human beings, we have our basic needs.

It includes love as well as sexual pleasure/ physical pleasure.

These basic needs can be satisfied only with the help of a fellow partner.

Earlier, to achieve these needs you had to get married.

Marriage was considered as the clause through which two people were legally able to satisfy these needs.

But now the whole scenario has changed.

And now you don't need marriage to prove your love..

You don't need an agreement to be able to express it..

Hey!! Hey, wait. Im not saying that i don't support marriage, i do.

Anyway, let's stick to 'Live-in'.

To be honest, you really don't need an official relation to prove your love.

In today's world 'live-in' are considered to be more comfortable then marriages.

According to me, Live-ins and marriages are almost similar..

No,No..See naa..

In a live-in both are in love, both care for each other, have insecurities, mutually handle their life and have a great bond.

Isn't it what married people do?

See I told you.

The only difference is we don't have a legal agreement and that one does not yell about their sex life to the world.

Like why do you think we get married?

Especially Indians?

See it's a fact.

We get married just so we could have sex legally and other reason is maa baap ka pressure.

Society, Maa baap aur hum khud..

Itna pressure, baapre..

Society wale parents ko pressurise krte hai fir wo aake hume aur hum khudko..

Ye chalta hi rehta hai jab tak humare shaadi nahi hoti.

This is the primary reason.

Secondary reason settle hona aur family start karna hota hai.

Par practically primary reason hi hota hai.

From this whole lott, few of them don't follow this regular procedure and opt for a live-in.

Who i think are the bravest.

Cuz Indian Society as whole is full of prejudice.

We have this fixed format for an individual, which needs to be followed.

To come out of it and follow our own path is brave and commendable.

The success rate of such relation are commendable.

But still people hesitate to opt for live-in's.

As to live in such a society ignoring the traditional path is considered a 'TABOO'.

Huge Word right?

That's how it is treated.

But now it is legally accepted (just for the papers) and laws have been made to protect such relations. (really)

So people please start accepting such relations, because wo log kuch galat nahi kar rahe.

Ab 'Shudh desi Romance' hi dekhlo, pyaar hai par shaadi nahi karni.

Toh usse itna jyaada complex mat banao yaar..

Don't complicate it.

Live-in is equal to marriage.

Repeat!

Now i'll leave you for a thought.
