Polyamory or Polyamorous relationship-

Have you heard this word, 'mon amour' ??

I assume you have..

Anyways this word means 'my love'.

And amour is 'love'.

So the term 'polyamorous actually means 'Many Loves'.

Sounds strange right.

It's basically a practice of having a relationship or to be more precise an intimate relationship with more than one partner with the consent of everyone involved.

After reading this we Indians will blame the western people for such culture..

But hello people it's time for a wake up call!!

The origin of 'Polyamorous' is actually from 'India'.

Remember 'Pandavas' from 'Mahabharat'...

Yaa that one.

The 'Pandavas' shared one wife amongs themself.

They were collectively married to 'Draupadi'.

Polyamorous is not anything which is new to the world.

But it was not that much hyped before.

Speaking about history, our kings had multiple 'Rani's'.

The 'Harem' was the place where all these Rani's used to stay and live mutually.

So you can't blame it on the new generation for this.

It even prevailed till the 90's in huge numbers in many small rural locations.

Even today there are places where one girl is married to all the brother's. And they all live happily in agreement.

This is mostly because of the less female population.

Because of which huge number of male's are left unmarried or single.

To avoid such situation one girl is collectively married to all the brother's.

Speaking about Modern Culture-

Are you familiar to terms such as double dating and triple dating?

This is not polyamorous, it's cheating.

But if it is done with the consent of everyone involved then it can be termed as polyamorous.

Today a huge number of people amongs us are engaged in polyamorous.

The only thing was we din't knew what it was.

But now you know, all thanks to me (wink wink*)

Sometimes, you don't get the love you want from only one person and need someone else to fulfill it.

So, judging someone over this topic is a total, 

NO,NO!!!

Polyamorous .

Polyamory doesn't hurt anyone's feelings and is hugely practised.

In such type of relation, a perfect balance should be maintained as to avoid jealousy and other situations. 

A proper consent should be taken by the person from all the partners.

My take on polyamory-

Personally, polyamory is not for me.

I want my partner to be more exclusive for me.

It should be more about us, and not involve a third party.

I don't want a relationship where jealousy dominates the picture.

Conclusion-

I'm not against it, just that it's not for me.

People practicing it are free to do it and have the right to love as many people as they want.

And they are not cheating anyone as a proper consent is taken.

Remember, POLYAMORY and CHEATING are two different words.

Never mix it and call cheating normal.

Polyamory involves intimacy, caring, responsibility and commitment equally for all the partners involved.

So in the name of polyamory don't cheat.

I hope i introduced something new to you guys and shed light on this topic.

Why make it a taboo when it is practiced everywhere so normally.
